A Glimpse into the Future of Procurement
Jaggaer REV 2025 gathered procurement leaders, source-to-pay experts, and ESG visionaries for an energizing two days focused on innovation, AI, resilience, and sustainability. The theme, Fast Forward, captured the urgency and excitement of driving business transformation through next-generation technologies and collaborative ecosystems.
Key topics included:
- AI-Driven Decision Making: Embracing AI beyond automation to unlock predictive insights and strategic value.
- Elevating Procurement’s Role: Transforming procurement into a true business enabler through data, talent, and orchestration.
- Navigating ESG and Compliance: Equipping organizations to thrive amid evolving regulations and sustainability expectations.
- Supplier Collaboration and Intelligence: Turning suppliers into strategic partners through shared data and digital tools.
REV 2025 made one thing clear: the future of procurement is not only autonomous and intelligent — it's deeply collaborative, strategic, and sustainable.
Carbmee x Jaggaer: Empowering Sustainable Supply Chains
As part of this future-focused narrative, Carbmee proudly joins forces with Jaggaer to showcase how joint innovation can drive decarbonization at scale.
Jaggaer’s commitment to Autonomous Commerce now extends deeper into ESG territory through its collaboration with Carbmee, leveraging our Environmental Intelligence System (EIS™) to deliver carbon transparency across complex supply chains. With a particular focus on Scope 3.1 and 3.4 emissions — often the most opaque — our platform empowers procurement teams to identify hotspots and collaborate with suppliers for meaningful reductions.
Strategic benefits for carbmee and Jaggaer customers include:
- Enhanced CO₂ Accuracy: New supplier-driven fields in Jaggaer’s Cost Breakdown structure, capturing energy sources and recycled materials for deeper insights.
- Live RFQ Integration: Carbmee’s integration is generally available within Jaggaer, making sustainable sourcing simpler and more actionable.
Together, we're making emissions data as tangible and accessible as financial data — enabling procurement teams to lead sustainability, not just report on it.

From Emissions to Action: Decarbonization Meets Resilience
A standout moment at REV 2025 was the panel session featuring Signify, Carbmee, and Accenture, spotlighting how leading companies are operationalizing decarbonization within complex global supply chains.
Signify shared its ambitious Scope 3 reduction targets and highlighted the central challenge of accessing high-quality, granular emissions data. The company is working to address the full lifecycle impact of its lighting products — from material sourcing to end-of-life — while balancing innovation with circular economy goals. Their partnership with Carbmee is helping build the data foundation necessary to engage suppliers and drive actionable emissions reductions across the value chain.
Carbmee reinforced the need for precision in carbon accounting. Their Environmental Intelligence System (EIS™) enables organizations to measure emissions at a highly detailed level, helping procurement and R&D teams make informed, sustainability-aligned decisions. Carbmee also emphasized that accurate emissions data should be treated with the same rigor as financial data to enable effective planning and forecasting.
Accenture brought a strategic view, underlining that ESG transformation must go beyond reporting. They stressed the importance of embedding sustainability into operating models and leveraging digital maturity to create business value. As regulatory pressure and stakeholder expectations increase, companies that treat ESG data as a strategic asset — rather than a compliance burden — will be best positioned for long-term resilience.
Together, the panel illustrated how collaboration, accurate data, and technology integration are critical to accelerating decarbonization efforts while driving operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
A Real-Life Example: Signify’s Decarbonization Journey
With lighting responsible for 12% of global energy consumption and contributing 5% of carbon emissions worldwide, Signify — a global leader in lighting solutions — has embraced its responsibility to lead by example.
As Arnold Chaterlain, Transformation Procurement Director at Signify, put it during REV 2025: “It’s just the responsibility of a company to reduce CO₂.”
Signify has set bold Scope 3 emissions targets: a 40% reduction by 2030 and 90% by 2040. Achieving these goals requires deep visibility into a highly complex supply chain. One of the biggest challenges the company faced was accessing emissions data with sufficient granularity to identify hotspots and work collaboratively with suppliers to reduce their footprint.
To tackle this, Signify partnered with Carbmee. The first step: building a precise, transaction-level emissions baseline. This involved integrating bill of materials, supplier data, and procurement records to generate a clear and actionable view of carbon drivers across their value chain.
As Carbmee Co-founder Robin Spickers explained, “Supply chains are very complex. You need to build a super accurate data foundation before you can reach out to suppliers and refine your baseline. Only then are you ready to make smart, emissions-informed decisions — not just in sourcing, but in R&D and materials selection too.”
Carbmee’s Environmental Intelligence System (EIS™) enables this level of detail, breaking down emissions by SKU, business unit, category, and supplier. This allows Signify to forecast effectively, align its operations with sustainability goals, and drive targeted decarbonization strategies across its ecosystem.
The collaboration with Carbmee is transforming how Signify approaches sustainability — from a reporting exercise to a core operational capability. With the right tools and partnerships, the company is demonstrating that it's possible to innovate, stay competitive, and meet ambitious climate goals all at once.
